I’m giving a presentation soon, and would like to include some data about hybrid cost effectiveness over time, due to the lowered dependence upon gasoline. Does anyone know of any good sources?

As of now Maini Motors at banglore makes Battery powered cars under REVA name which can seat two and travel abt 100 -150 km at 45-50 km on a single charge. There is no iformation abt it switching to an alternate fuel in case of power down, but lot of trials are on in the US and japan on cars driven on Hydrogen with an option to switch over to conventional fuel . However the costs are still not viable for mass marketing of these vehicles.
